Late Night!

Movie Night: TO SAVE A LIFE

On Wednesday, September 8, we will be showing the movie “To Save A Life” in Revo. This movie is legit, so grab some of the promo tickets and invite some friends. It will begin promptly at 7pm, so don’t be late! The movie should be done by 9:30pm, so let your parents know we’ll be going a bit later than usual. Farewell, Pastor Caleb & Chrissy [LATE-NIGHT!]

Hey Revo!

After 5 years of service to the Youth and Young Adults here at Bethany, Pastor Caleb and Chrissy Cole have announced that God is moving them forward to plant a church in the Bay Area of California. Caleb and Chrissy have been an integral part of Bethany’s many ministries including Sports, Music, Women’s Ministries, and of course Youth/College/Young Adults. We will be having a huge REVO LATE-NIGHT Farewell Bash on Wednesday night August 25th for all Youth/College/Young Adults. So Revo will go down as usual, with bumping music, games, and giveaways, and then plan to party as we send them off right. (Facebook Event Page)

The whole night will have a “California” theme. Dress up in “beach style”, which doesn’t mean skimpy bathing suits (girls), or guys walking around shirtless… But wear what you would wear if you were taking a two hourrevofarewell drive to the beach (so that means everyone remains covered up, aight?). We will be clearing out the regular chairs, so bring a beach chair or a towel to sit on. We will be playing volleyball and basketball in the gym too. We will also have a blank scrapbook ready for you to sign all throughout the night, so be prepared for that too.

Pizza will be available, as well as a farewell cake.

Also, we will be having an impromptu REVO-LIVE for you students to share your love for Caleb and Chrissy with songs, poems, or whatever else. You must register with Gina Gessay to take part in this “farewell” edition of REVO-LIVE. Hit her up on facebook, Email her at GinaGes@gmail.com or text her at 413-478-3232 to let her know you want to perform. There will be a 3-minute limit to each performance.

It all wraps up at 11:30, so plan out your ride home before you come!

With bittersweet joy,

Revo Youth Staff

Revo: Tent Style

Wednesday, July 7 @ 7:00 p.m. we will be having Revolution out under the tent. Be sure to come out at 6:00pm as we will be having games, volleyball, basketball, food and more. We will also be baptizing students in the pool on that night so sign up at Revolution if you are interested in being baptized.

Reach(413)

This spring vacation, April 19-24, we will be doing a home missions trip to the Pioneer Valley for all Jr. and Sr. High students. We will be working with Springfield Rescue Mission, Lion’s Den, Habitat for Humanity, and the Springfield Homeless Ministry as well as doing street ministry with adults and children. This is a crucial opportunity for students to exercise the Biblical mandate of social justice and giving to others when everything we hear from society is to take for ourselves.

The cost for the week is only $130 and this includes registration for “The Launch,” Southern New England’s District Youth Convention. Pick up your application at the hospitality counter and sign up in the bookstore.

The Launch 2010

Southern New England’s District Youth Convention is coming to the Mass Mutual Center this April 23-24. The cost is only $55 (see information about how you can combine this event with Reach(413) during the same week to save money!) and you will be challenged by a packed weekend including speakers Chad Varga and Chet Caudill. With worship by Worth Dying For and our very own Jordan Flower. Sign up in the bookstore today. For more info go to theLaunchNE.com

RevoFest 2009

RevoFest is a night dedicated to give thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through the creative/visual arts.

It all starts with a concert at 6pm featuring SHADES OF SKIN followed by a high energy service involving, video, music, drama, and other creative/visual arts.

Revo Fest is short for Revolution Festival because we believe God needs to bring a Revolution to the young people of New England. The Festival part is the idea that we will be giving thanks and honoring God with the arts. Arts that the world has claimed as their own but that God was the original author of.
